The village Asprageli also known by the name Dovra is the first village that a visitor will meet at the Central Zagori, only 20 minutes far from the capitol of Epirus, Ioannina.

Asprageli were burned to the ground during the war and for that reason its inhabitants had a very hard time reconstructing all the buildings with their origin splendor and tradition, taking into consideration the enormous economical difficulties.

But hopefully in the last year's new traditional gust houses made their appearance, constructed in such way as to respect the culture and tradition of old times and having as their first priority the visitors to be able to experience the local hospitality and to carry away with them authentic images of real beauty.

In the village Asprageli you can find restaurants, coffeehouses and a small marketplace with traditional goods and souvenirs. It is also very important that the number of young people occupied in the tourist field is increasing and they are offering high quality services. Asprageli is the perfect place for particular sports as glider also Known as "Para Pente", where all visitors can try this extreme sport, while the most fanatics of the kind are able to enjoy amazing flights all around the year. The shooting range of the village also embraces many fanatics, in a vegetated landscape with the magnificent view of Vicko's Canyon. Finally the visitor, only in a few minutes drive, can enjoy the beauty of the nearby, well known villages, both in Central and in West Zagori.
